Skillet Brings the Heat to Wild Adventures Saturday

Wild Adventures Theme Park welcomes the Grammy-nominated alternative group Skillet to the park Saturday August 13 at 8:00 p.m. General concert entry is included with park admission or a 2011 Season Pass. Reserved seats are available for $ 15 online, by phone or at the park and do not include park admission.
Skillet may be best known for delivering encouraging, catchy music with an edge. The alternative band has earned two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Gospel Album in 2005, Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album in 2008 and three Dove Award nominations. This year, the band received a Billboard award for Top Christian Album and was nominated for Billboard’s Top Christian Artist award. Some popular hits by Skillet are “Awake and Alive,” “Comatose,” “Collide,” and “Whispers in the Dark.”

Wild Adventures is a 170-acre theme park, water park, and animal park all in one place for less located in Valdosta, Georgia.
